Question:
For a long time, I have been really disappointed with my church youth group because many of the young people do not seem to really care about spiritual things, and many of the youth do not show up to youth group meetings at all. I have talked to my youth group leader and tried to ask if we could do more mission projects and youth group outings so that we can serve others and have fellowship, but the leader never seems to have time or forgets about it, so our youth group never gets together to do anything. I really would love to see revival in our youth group and would also love more opportunities to help and talk to others. However, I am a pretty shy person, and I am unsure of how to go about trying to “reform” my youth group. Is there any advice you can give me that would help me, as an individual, to work change for the better in my youth group, with God’s help? Thank you so much.
